Tonight, there are new workshops posted on the teaching schedule page. All the classes are in June, since I have dates available now that the PA classes have been cancelled. There is a “Dyeing for your Art” workshop, and a “Sectional Warping” workshop. Both are Saturday workshops. The sectional warping is only a 3 hour workshop, and the dyeing workshops are divided into 2 hour increments so you can book for just the fiber you are interested in……cotton (cellulose), and protein (wool), or vat dyeing, either with kool aid, or commercial dyes.
In addition to these workshops, I have 1 space still available in the June weaving intensive. Contact me if you are interested. You have the opportunity to weave 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. You can use the afternoon/late evening open studio time for working, or take a break from the weaving….whichever suits your needs, but this is a great opportunity. Whether you are a beginner, or an intermediate weaver. Won’t you join us? Check it out on the class description page, and e-mail me. If you want to focus on a specific weave structure, or area of your weaving, let me know and I will be prepared to assist you in that area.
We are settling into the new space, and I have additional looms arriving next week. I thought I had a 7′ tapestry loom coming, but that one got away;0)
I’ll try to get more info on the class schedule page, but there is a parent/child sewing class on Saturdays in June,
